Keith Lancaster

WorshipNow Presenter

Keith Lancaster is a worship minister, singer, songwriter, producer, workshop instructor and founder of Acappella Ministries. He wholeheartedly subscribes to the idea that the human voice is the greatest instrument of music ever created. He believes that "Harmonizing hearts and voices in praise to the Creator is the highest calling of mankind."

In 1982, Keith began to pursue his dream to spread the Gospel through a cappella music by creating Acappella Ministries in his hometown of Paris, Tennessee. Originating with the singing group ACAPPELLA, the singing ministry has grown through the years to include other groups as AVB, Vocal Union, The Lancasters and Durant. Many of the groups Keith started have won prestigious awards, including induction into the Christian Music Hall of Fame. His songs and arrangements have been used in various feature films and television commercials.
Often referred to as “musicianaries," Keith and his wife Sharon travel the world extensively, equipping churches through "Praise & Harmony Workshops.” These training sessions are reviving vibrant, fully-participatory worship, encouraging every Christian to join in the singing. Training materials are produced to equip church members to sing contemporary songs and traditional hymns in four-part harmony.
Keith developed and is one of the instructors of the one-of-a-kind annual week long Worship Leader Institute, a graduate level “bootcamp” for song leaders. This world-class training complements the congregational Praise & Harmony Workshops by providing individualized coaching for leaders seeking excellence.

As the host of “Singing at Sea” vacations, Keith leads congregational singing cruises which feature stellar concerts by ACAPPELLA, Durant and other favorite artists. You will also find him leading worship for regional events, Bible lectureships and mission trips.

When he isn’t traveling, Keith serves as worship minister for the Cullman Church of Christ in Cullman, Alabama. Keith and Sharon have four children and one grandchild.
